Experienced
Practitioners Assessed Programme (EPA) Courses

Courses are held every year from March and September.

Oakland's College: Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL8 6AH.
Evening course programme from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.
Cost £950.00 + Vat.
Essex Enterprise Centre: Basildon, Essex. Evening
course programme from 6.00pm to 8.30pm.
Cost: £950.00 + Vat
The above EPA courses consists of twenty sessions
which are allocated over the period from March to October or September
to May as the CIOB examinations are held in November and June
every year.
A course programme is issued stating the dates,
tutor and candidate work focus.
The four compulsory modules are as follows:
- Management
- Contract and Commercial Practice
- Construction Technology
- Health, Safety and The Environment
The assignment subjects are Construction Technology and Health, Safety and the Environment. The assignments are posted by the CIOB on their website and they have to be submitted by a specified date.
Examinations are taken on the Management and
Contract and Commercial Practice Modules.
The first step of the EPA is to complete the
EPA Part A application to demonstrate your occupational competence,
which is sent to the CIOB. This can be found on the CIOB website
at www.ciob.org.uk/membership/routes/epa.

Professional Review Workshop

The Professional Review Workshop will concentrate on report preparation
and interview techniques.
Subjects covered include:
- CIOB code of ethics.
- CPD requirements and obligations.
- Project specific information and processes.
- Environmental and Welfare impact.
- Generally, discuss the content of the Professional Review Template.
- CV, Job Description and Organisational Preparation.
- Discuss preparation for the Professional Review Interview.
When candidates have produced their draft Professional
Review Reports, these are proof read before submission to the
CIOB.
We offer three different options:
The Professional Review workshop is available
on an individual basis at our training facility at Basildon in
Essex. This workshop is carried out on a one to one basis with
the candidate.
Company in-house training one day workshop.
Devcon (UK) Ltd one full day Professional Review
Workshop.
