On Thursday 23rd July 2009 Shaun Valentine FCIOB Managing Director and Jackie Valentine Operations Director attended a VIP tour of the site. They were invited by Peter Jacobs Olympic Athletes Village Delivery Director of Bovis Lend Lease, and Vice President of the CIOB.

They were met and escorted around the site by the Events and Communications Executive Jo Drummond for the Athletes Village. She conducted the tour and was very informative about the project answering all questions fully.

As you would expect, Health and Safety and Site Security is second to none with exceptional standards in place.

Shaun was impressed at the speed in which the concrete frame constructions were being constructed along with the security entrance that Jo confirmed was constructed in just six weeks.

After the games, it will be transformed into a lively residential community.

Shaun wishes to thank Peter and Jo for there hospitality.
